Just like Dorothy’s ruby slippers, learners arrive in EAP class filled with potential to succeed in the Canadian academic setting. What they need is confidence and strategies which will empower them. We will share insights on how our program is designed to enable learners to unleash that hidden potential.


Greg Danowski

Bow Valley College
Greg Danowski has taught various language and disciplinary courses at a number of universities and colleges. Since 2013, he has been an instructor with the School of Global Access at Bow Valley College, where he is currently teaching EAP.

Ruby Hamm

Bow Valley College
Ruby Hamm has been an instructor at Bow Valley College for 10 years and part of the Youth in Transition program for most of that time. Her class now is also part of the EAP program. She enjoys working with her learners as they develop their skills and strategies.

Ceila Logan

Bow Valley College
Celia Logan has been an ELL professional for many years with a variety of institutions in Montreal and Calgary. She is currently teaching EAP at Bow Valley College to a cohort of dedicated learners.
