Academic Writing Challenges of Nepali Students at a US University

This presentation reports on results from a phenomenological inquiry into 12 Nepali undergraduate students’ academic writing challenges at a US university. Results revealed that Nepali students encountered some specific academic writing challenges and the strategies that they employed to alleviate them. Implications for ESL teachers and program administrators are discussed.
