Trans Canada: Making LGBTQ+ Resources Accessible to Clients and Instructors

We have witnessed significant homo/transphobia in the classroom. Some clients are not aware of Canadian LGBTQ+ laws and values. Furthermore, the resources we found are inaccurate or outdated. We created and piloted lessons to educate newcomers and teachers and promote respect despite differences. We want to help teachers feel empowered to teach this type of material.
