Xiaoli Liu is a Ph.D. candidate in the Werklund School of Education, University of Calgary. Her research interests include teaching English as an Additional Language and Critical Thinking in higher education. She is also a lecturer in the Department of Language and Literature, Harbin Institute of Technology (Weihai).
